TKO StaffPros, LLC is currently seeking experienced Welder Fitters for a reputable company in the Itawamba County area . We’re looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work and can fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components to build or repair structures, products, and equipment.
Candidates with hands-on experience in trades such as furniture building or carpentry often excel in this role. The ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately is required.
Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components using measuring tools such as calipers, squares, and rulers.
Cut, trim, and shape metal parts using hand and power tools, including saws, grinders, and cutting torches.
Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as automated punches, shears, and presses.
Perform tack-welding, bolting, and clamping to secure parts for final welding.
Operate MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment to join metal parts in multiple positions (flat, vertical, and overhead).
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, removing excess weld, slag, or spatter as needed.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts (experience is a plus).
Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
Skilled in using fabrication tools such as calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, and press brakes.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Solid math skills for measurements and layout work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
