Job Overview:
The Junior Financial Systems Specialist supports the finance team in maintaining financial systems and inventory-related processes. This role is ideal for a process driven individual, who is eager to grow in a cross-functional environment. The role involves assisting with SAP data maintenance, financial reporting support, and collaborating with IT, logistics, and quality departments to ensure accurate and compliant financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- SAP & Financial Systems Support
- Support SAP master data maintenance and routine financial system updates
- Assist with daily system reconciliations and interface checks
- Help with testing new system features and documenting outcomes
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Generate standard financial and inventory reports using Excel and SAP
- Assist in the creation of dashboards and report templates
- Perform basic variance analysis and prepare data for review by senior staff
- Inventory & Material Flow Processes
- Support the monthly inventory reconciliation process
- Help track material movements and stock levels in SAP
- Assist in documenting scrap, supplier claims, and accrual inputs
- Process Documentation & Improvement
- Maintain process documentation and assist in identifying improvement areas
- Participate in cross-functional workshops to understand end-to-end financial and logistics flows
- Support colleagues in ongoing improvement and automation projects
Qualifikationen
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong interest in SAP systems and finance/controlling processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic, cross-functional team
- Ability to analyze data and summarize findings clearly
